I looked within myself to find the answers
Because I knew although I can't say how,
That deep inside me the truth awaited me
So, fearlessly, I opened the door to eternity,
And walked in..... |
It all started a few years back when I lost my brother and father in quick successions. I was devastated by this huge loss and went under severe depression. Bearing the pain and grief of this loss was not only taking a toll on me emotionally but also mentally and physically. It was also beginning to affect my relationship with my husband and children.I started seeing a psychiatrist for my depression and was on anti-depressant pills for over a year. During this period I realized that the pills were not improving my condition but kept me sedated and were causing side effects.
As my condition wasn't improving, a friend suggested seeing a hypnotherapist. I was not sure what I was in for, but after the first session I was much more at peace with the passing away of my brother and father. The second session gave a new meaning to my life.As they say 'Today is the first day of the rest of my life', the second session changed my life completely. I had always felt that, I had infinite potential in me but didn't know how to awaken it. The second session helped me in awakening this latent potential," my psychic and healing abilities".
After this, things started changing in my life. It started with visions which I started having about people I didn't know. Second stage came when I started seeing past lives incidents of people I knew that were affecting their current life as well. Then I noticed that I was curing people in my dreams. When I inquired from these people about their issues most of them noticed a lot of difference and in some cases it was miraculous. By this time I had enrolled for a Hypnotherapy course where I met some very wonderful people who were from different walks of life but had one thing in common .....somehow they were all related to healing work. Here I came to know about different healing modalities like Reiki, Pranic healing, Crystal therapy, guided imagery etc.
Meditation made me more and more aware of things. I realized that our mind is like a computer that is connected to the minds of all living things through super conscious mind or Universal Mind. It has all the information about anything across time and space stored in it and is very user friendly. One just needs to know how to access it. It can help you to make good decisions in life, since it has Infinite Intelligence. It has all the answers we want, including tomorrow's share price!
By now the knowledge I had, gave me the wisdom to understand the role, my brother and father played in my life plan by exiting out early. Sometimes the only way God can find place in our heart and life is through pain, sorrow and turmoil. I now work with people who suffer from depression, a deeply debilitating condition of the mind that I understand intimately as I too suffered from depression for many years. People had always said I was intuitive, but now it was different. I could see, feel and hear things far beyond the known capability of the human mind and that too without the barrier of time and space. I have found complete acceptance in this period, and very little fear. It feels natural even though it is outside of my previous experience.
The only thing that stands between a man and what he wants from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe that it is possible........Many blessings and from here may you live happily ever after.
